1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Hisaab at ourhisaab.app, operated by Skylite Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 13535333). By using Hisaab you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to use Hisaab. If you use a business account, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of that company and to connect its accounting data.
3. What Hisaab does
For personal use, Hisaab helps you track shared expenses and balances between you and people you choose. For business use, Hisaab can connect to your accounting service (such as Zoho Books) to organise and classify your bookkeeping and produce a trial balance, and can retrieve public company information from Companies House. Hisaab records and computes figures from the data available to it; it is a tool to help you, not a replacement for your own checks.
4. Not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice
Hisaab does not provide regulated financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. Balances, classifications, trial balances and any other figures Hisaab produces are provided for information and convenience only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying them, and for meeting your own accounting, tax and statutory obligations. Preparing and filing statutory accounts or returns is your responsibility (whether handled by you, your accountant, or a separate filing service); using Hisaab does not discharge those obligations. We recommend you take professional advice where appropriate.
5. Your account
You sign in through SAIG and are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
6. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the data you put into Hisaab. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to enter any data you provide, including information about other people (such as group members) and your company's financial data.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Hisaab for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, not to misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or others' data, and not to use it to mislead others or misrepresent financial information.
8. AI features
Hisaab uses AI to assist you and to classify accounts. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and may not suit your circumstances. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for any financial, tax or business decision — always review it yourself.
9. Third-party services
Where you connect or use third-party services (such as Zoho Books, Companies House, or other apps in the SAIG ecosystem), your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.
10. Availability
Hisaab is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, Hisaab is provided without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, nor for any loss arising from figures, classifications or AI output that you did not independently verify. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of Hisaab or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
You can stop using Hisaab and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service or other users.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date below shows when they were last revised; significant changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
